scooter

add to the list of favorite outdoor activities...riding the SCOOTER!  this is hudson's new favorite thing!  rebekah picked up this scooter at a garage sale for a few bucks and he's been obsessed ever since.  when she brought it home, he literally jumped right on it and off he went. he's been zooming around everywhere ever since!

 

this is certainly the best bargain of the year!  

memorial day

what a gorgeous holiday weekend!  we took a trip down to atwood lake to spend some time visiting mimi and papa (andrew's mom and dad) on their anniversary.  they just got a new trailer and have it right down on the lakefront.  it was perfect!  anyhow, the boys had a ball exploring this new place, but by far, the best part was going boating out on the lake.

let me sing

okay, this is totally our new favorite worship song (among many, that is).  it's called "let me sing" by todd fields (northpoint community church).  we sang it at church a while ago and loved it immediately. the lyrics are incredible!  be sure to check out this video and pay close attention to the powerful message expressed through the words.  

anniversary

this past friday was our 5 year anniversary!  it's hard to believe that 5 years have passed, but what an incredible blessing it is to look back and reflect on all that God has done in our lives!  we are beyond blessed and give God all the glory.  we were able to go on a 3-day getaway (thank you mimi and papa!) to columbus and had a wonderful time together.

okay, these pictures were just calling out my name to be edited and captioned!  photo editing is almost as fun, if not more fun, than taking the picture itself.  you can really transform a picture.  so, here's what i came up with.  not sure if you knew, but you can click on them to enlarge and/or save to your computer! check out greyson's eyes, they really "popped" when i adjusted the hue/saturation in this photo.  do you like?

graduation

last weekend we celebrated leanne's graduation with our family.  we had a wonderful day and were so proud of her accomplishments!  we attended the commencement ceremony in the morning, went to muggswigz for coffee in the afternoon (hudson loved his italian soda), and then went to a very nice dinner at iris in downtown canton.  CLICK HERE to see some snapshots of the day! congrats, leanne! 

outside

when the weather's nice, you certainly won't find us inside for too long.  we absolutely LOVE being outside with our boys and they have a ball!  they would (literally) stay out there forever if we let them!  so, we thought we'd do a blog post solely dedicated to sharing the fun that we have outdoors.  here are some pics of some of the things we love to do together outside.  CLICK HERE to see them all!

last weekend was hudson and greyson's "official" birthday party at the first christian church playland.  it was awesome celebrating with our friends and family and the kids had a blast!
